EI Training Opportunities for April

April 6, 2007

EI provides a full training bulletin here… (where you can also register for the classes below!)

The featured section this month is Effective Researcher Profiling (April 24th):

Creating meaningful researcher profiles can help in identifying the leaders in a research field as well as potential partners and collaborators. Profiling can include publications, past and present affiliations, achievements, milestones and much more. By combining Engineering Village sources and using its unique capabilities you will learn how to identify the best match for your vacancy or research partnership by:

* Identifying the most active researchers in a certain research area
* Follow their career paths and major milestones
* Identify their current research interests
* Examine their collaboration patterns and co‑authorship
* Learn how to keep track of people and follow their research activities.

Other opportunities include:

Introduction to Engineering Village (April 10th)
Knowledge Organization, Discovery and Sharing using Tags & Groups Course Description (April 17th)
