ARTstor Training Coming in August

Save the date!  We will have a trainer from ARTstor on campus to offer faculty training for two days in August.  There will be two sessions for beginning and advanced topics and each session will be offered more than once.  Registration will be required and we’ll start holding seats in late April, so mark your calendars now!
SESSION 1: “Introduction to ARTstor”
(1.5 hours)
– levels user privileges in ARTstor: basic, registered and instructor
– what’s in ARTstor: tour of content
– finding content: browsing, basic & advanced searching
– viewing, zooming, rotating, printing, saving images
– saving and printing groups of images

SESSION 2: “Teaching with ARTstor ”
(2 hours)
>>Pre-requisite: “Introduction to ARTstor”
– collaborating with students using shared folders
– adding content to ARTstor as a Personal Collection
– creating presentations with the Offline Image Viewer (OIV) software
