New Chemistry Database

July 28, 2006

The Merrill-Cazier Library now has access to the Inorganic Crystal Structure Database (ICSD).  ICSD contains records of all inorganic crystal structures, with atomic coordinates, published since 1913 and is updated twice a year.  Produced cooperatively by FIZ Karlsruhe and the National Institute of Standards and Technology, (NIST) complements Cambridge Crystalographic Database.

USU has 4 simultaneous seats for ICSD: two located in the Reference Area of Merrill-Cazier Library, one in the Chemistry Department, and a fourth in MAD.
